All good things come in three's: three unique hotels, three top gourmet restaurants, three young chefs with exceptional talents and cooking skills who each count a bit over three decades... Three times three and the story of a unique culinary exploration that will reveal Bled in a new light to you may begin.
You will write this unfolding story yourselves: by choosing the hotel that best makes your heart content, and the chef whose creative inspiration attracts you most.

Igor Jagodic – Vila Bled

Igor Jagodic sees the file rouge of his dishes in classical French cuisine to which he adds a touch of modernity and a lot of imagination. The menu content is dictated by the seasons and fresh ingredients, preferably locally produced. On this culinary journey, the intertwining of cosmopolitan trends in the preparation of dishes and accomplished tastes mingle to create a harmonious whole.
Bine Volčič – Gourmet restavracija Promenada

Bine Volčič calls his cuisine "internationally blended": as a graduate of the Le Cordon Bleu school, he has emerged from the solid foundations of French cuisine, to which he adds a garnish of influences from around the globe. All this accompanied by much intuition and the constant search for new tastes and combinations.
Uroš Štefelin – Restavracija 1906

Uroš Štefelin turns to his childhood for inspiration, where in the home kitchen there were scents of Slovenian dishes made of buckwheat, beetroot, cabbage and beans, when sausages were still home-made and dried pears were considered a dessert. He prepares the dishes and ingredients that remind him of his childhood in a modern way and spices them with the philosophies of French and Mediterranean cuisines.
Not easy to make up your mind? Why not return to Bled – our menus change with the offer available in the local markets. Or stay another night and give all three chefs a chance to prove their skills. |
